This very short game was written for the 2018 Eleventh Hour New Year's Minicomp

What's a bit noteworthy is that the game was written in ZIL (Zork Implementation Language), the language originally developed by Infocom.  Jesse McGrew had more or less resurrected the language by creating the tool chain necessary to turn ZIL code into game files that could be played on the Z-virtual machine. I think I used zilf version 0.8 at the time, which faithfully implemented most of the original ZIL and proved not too difficult to use. Since that time, there has been a resurgence of ZIL-coded games (take a look at the ZIL facebook group).
